Unfortunately, a year before I was diagnosed with gluten sensitivity. Well, A turn in my life. The main issue is that I have to avoid eating anything that contains gluten since it makes my symptoms worse. Despite having a gluten sensitivity, I haven’t stopped enjoying my favorite foods. I was warned by my doctor not to eat anything that contained gluten. She did not advise me to avoid a certain meal.
Thus, I eliminated wheat, rye and barley from my diet in a significant way. Additionally, remove all items that contain or may contain traces of gluten. And after much research, I found delicious gluten-free Chinese food. Don’t worry if you are experiencing the same issue! I’ve completed all of the research and am sharing it with you. Isn’t it something common in almost every house, where your mom tells you to save the leftover rice in the refrigerator. Of course it is so! And then one weekend your mom makes a big pan full of fried rice. Ahan! But you don’t have to eat that regular fried rice. You have to switch to gluten free fried rice. So what to do for that.
PROCEDURE:
- Take a fresh clean pan
- Prepare the chicken
- Boil the rice. Make sure you use clean drinking water
- Stir fry all the vegetables you prefer having in your fried rice (carrot, onions, capsicum, cabbage, saccilion, peas).
- Add egg and chicken in it too. You can add salt and pepper in it for a good taste
- Mix it with the rice
- Tada! Your gluten free fried rice is ready.
The main ingredient in fried rice is soy sauce, which contains wheat in it. A gluten containing product. If you exclude soy sauce from your fried rice, it’s a gluten free dish. In case if you wanna add any sauce or condiments for flavor, get a gluten free option, which gives you no harm.
- CHICKEN EGG SOUP
Soup is a versatile cuisine that can be enjoyed in every season, be it hot or cold. Sip your soup while being cozy or while dabbing in sweat. Even so, it retains its essential qualities to bring you comfort.
However, shifting from normal soup to gluten free soup as well doesnt makes any difference
PROCEDURE;
- Prepare the chicken broth.
- You may add onions, spring onions in it
- Add salt and pepper to give it a good flavor
- Beat the egg the pour it in the broth
- Add corn starch or potato starch to give it a good consistency
- The best gluten free soup is ready to enjoy!
In order to get the correct consistency, we must ensure that wheat flour is not included. Alternatively, we may use potato or corn starch. Additionally, since soy sauce contains gluten, avoid adding it for flavor. Last but not least, canned chicken broth should not be utilized. Rather, prepare broth at home There’s a chance that canned chicken broth contains gluten.
- GLUTEN FREE CHOW MEIN
The main component for chow mein is noodles. However, they are made from wheat flour, which is not at all gluten free. But what about making noodles at home, using rice flour instead of all purpose flour? Won’t it be a good option for you to have it!

- Prepare a dough from rice flour. Make sure not to add any other flour in it. Specially wheat flour

When making chow mein, you must ensure that the noodles are completely free of gluten. Apart from that, avoid using soy sauce. Use any sauce or condiment that has a gluten-free label. You may also substitute alternative noodles that are labeled as gluten-free. But before using it, look over the content lists in case any products are included which may contain gluten in it.
- STEAMED CHICKEN WITH STEAMED VEGETABLES
What else you need for your meal when you have chicken and veggies together. I mean a complete meal is already on your plate. Just one thing you have to do is to serve it gluten free.
PROCEDURE;
- Steam the chicken in fresh water
- Add aromatics and condiments as per your taste (need to be gluten free)
- On the other side, steam your preferred vegetables.
- Serve it hot on your plate.
- Alas! Your meal is ready to dig in
Make sure that the chicken and vegetables are steamed in fresh water and not used water. It is specifically forbidden to use water to boil noodles. Use gluten free soy sauce in place of regular soy sauce. Any condiments and aromatics used must be gluten-free.
- DUMPLINGS
Can you think of having dumplings as a gluten free dish? I don’t think that’s possible. And anyways I would never prefer having it as a risk. Hey! Relax! I am giving you an option to have gluten free dumplings.
PROCEDURE;
- To prepare the dough for dumpling use corn flour or potato flour instead of all purpose flour
- Add pinch of salt and sugar to balance within the taste
- Add milk and butter as well
- Make a perfect dough and let it rest for a while
- For the filling, make a mild taste filling which may include shredded chicken and vegetables such as carrot and cabbage
- To add taste in your filling, add salt and pepper. Or incase of adding any other flavor, make sure it’s gluten free.
- Make the dumpling shape of your choice.
- Fill it and steam it
- Tadaa! Your favorite unimaginable Chinese dish is ready to eat.
Be very certain that only homemade dumplings can be consumed where alternatives of all purpose flour are used. However, the dumplings which are being sold are not gluten free because they are made from all purpose flour. Also soy sauce is prohibited. You may use gluten free soy sauce or any other flavor which is gluten free.
